Braised Red Cabbage
Serves 4
Ingredients

1 red cabbage shredded

1 red onion finely chopped

1 cooking apple finely diced
-
1 clove garlic crushed
-
2tbls brown sugar
-
2oz butter diced
-
2ml red wine vinegar
-
Salt and pepper
Methods
- Layer everything in a large pan with a tight fitting lid.
- Heat gently.
- Put on a lid and simmer gently for 40- 50 mins stiring frequently.
- Serve.
